The Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L USM is a compact lens with an impressive f/1.2 speed and an EF mount. Therefore, it performs well in low light. Thanks to the f-stop, there is the possibility to get a short depth of field with a well isolated subject and a nice round bokeh thanks to the 8 blades.

With the USM autofocus motor, focusing is quite fast and with almost no noise. The lens has several aspherical elements and also special coating for minimal aberrations, flare and ghosting. The minimum focusing distance of the lens is 45cm and it is composed of 8 elements in 6 groups.
