Le SmallHD Indie 5'' est doté d'un écran tactile LCD de 1920 x 1080 uniquement et d'une profondeur de couleur de 10 bits. Il peut prendre en charge les entrées vidéo jusqu'à UHD 4K30 et avec sa luminosité de 1000 nits, il est possible de bien voir l'image même en plein soleil.
L'écran est doté d'entrées et de sorties HDMI et 3G-SDI avec conversion croisée, ainsi que d'outils vidéo utiles tels que la fonction Anamorphic De-squeeze, False colour, Focus assist/peaking, Histogramme, RGB Parade, Vectorscope, Zebra et Waveform.
