Der Sound Devices MixPre-3 II ist ein Field-Recorder, an den Sie bis zu drei externe Mikrofone anschließen und aufnehmen können, sowie eine Stereomischung mit bis zu 32-bit/192kHz.
Mit einer maximalen Bittiefe von 32bit können Sie in der Nachbearbeitung viel für den Ton tun. Jeder der drei Kanäle kann mit den physischen Drehknöpfen individuell abgehört und eingestellt werden, außerdem verfügt der Recorder über einen internen Timecode-Generator sowie Polaritäts-, Low-Cut- und Pan-Regler. Neben der Aufnahme mit einer SD-Karte können Sie auch eine Backup-Aufnahme über einen USB-Stick machen.
Der Rekorder kann mit den mitgelieferten 4x AA-Batterien oder mit Netzstrom betrieben werden. Schließlich wiegt der Rekorder nur 0,5 kg (ohne Batterien) und seine Abmessungen betragen 144 x 36 x 110 mm.
