De Schoeps MiniCMIT is een compact profesioneel richtmicrofoon ontworpen voor gebruik in film, tv en op locatie.Bijzonder aan deze microfoon is dat je hem kunt gebruiken in kleinere ruimtes, maar zonder in te moeten geven op geluidskwaliteit.De MiniCMIT heeft een erg laag ruisvloer van slechts 14dBa, een frequentie bereik van 60Hz tot 20kHz, lage impedantie van 100 Ohms en een maximale SPL van 130dB.
De microfoon heeft een Supercardioïde richtingskarakteristiek, hierdoor pikt de microfoon voornamelijk geluid op aan de voorkant.Verder heeft de microfoon een condenser capsule, hierdoor heeft de microfoon fantoomvoeding nodig, dit mag 12V tot 48V fantoomvoeding zijn.
Tenslotte is de microfoon slechts 21 x 151 mm en weegt 78 gram.
