First time renting with Budgetcam Rental?

Here's how it works step by step:

1. Choose your equipment

  1. Add the equipment you want to rent to your basket.
  2. Choose from which location and dates/timeslots you want to pick up and return the equipment.
  3. Don’t forget to select either the limited deductible excess or the delivery service if you want to make use of either service.

2. Create an account

  1. After clicking the “Place a reservation” button, create a new account with your email address.
  2. Click the confirmation link in the activation email.
  3. After this, complete your reservation.

3. Fill in your details

  1. After activating your account, fill in your personal information.
  2. Indicate who will pick up the equipment. If you don’t know yet, add multiple names in the 'Note' field.
  3. Click 'Place a reservation' again to submit your request.

4. Verify your identity

  1. You will be asked to verify your identity via Onfido, a secure online identity check.
  2. This check is required to approve your reservation.

5. Provide additional information (only for first reservation)

As a new renter, we may ask you to provide extra documents, such as:

  • - Your portfolio, website, or socials
  • - A recent mail piece or extract from the Chamber of Commerce (if available)

This helps us get a better picture of you as a creator. You’ll receive a separate email from our Customer Service.

Note: In some cases we may charge a deposit. The amount depends on the equipment you rent. We’ll inform you in advance.

6. Confirmation & payment

  1. Once we’ve received your reservation, we’ll process it and send you an email confirmation, including a QR code to pick up your equipment.
  2. Payments need to be made beforehand or during pickup. You can pay online via the link in your confirmation email, or by debit/credit card in‑store.

7. Pick-ups & returns

  1. Your reservation will be ready for pick-up at the time detailed in your confirmation email. You will receive a notification if it’s available early.
  2. Please bring the QR code you have received by email. Our employees will scan the code in order to retrieve your reservation.
  3. After your rental period, you will return the equipment in the selected timeslot.

Important to know:

  • Limited availability: We cannot guarantee equipment availability. If something is not available, we’ll contact you.
