The Canon EF 100-400mm F4.5-5.6L IS II is the succesor to the versatile Canon 100-400mm lens. The push/pull system has been replaced by a more conventional rotating zoom ring. You can adjust the zoom ring resistance for the precision control you desire. In addition, they improved image stabilization to a 4 stop stabilization. This allows you to shoot off-hand in much more situations.
