The Leica Summarit-M 50mm f/2.4 (Leica M) Lens is a classic lens in photography. This new design still shares the same characteristics and construction of elements as when they were just introduced in 1979. Despite its old elements, this is one of the sharpest 50mm available. The simple optical design of 6 elements in 4 groups produces sharpness from edge to edge. It has barely any distortion or aberrations.

The lens has a 9-bladed aperture, is fully manual and weighs only 105 grams. This lens is designed for photographers who decide to take a step back from their tools and who like to have full control at their fingertips.
