Try Before You Buy

Did you rent a product from Budgetcam and then want to purchase it? Then we have good news! Thanks to the collaboration between Budgetcam and Kamera Express you get the first rental day as a discount when you buy the rented product at Kamera Express. So you easily make the transition from renting to buying!

How does it work?

1. Rent a product from Budgetcam — Try out the camera, lens or other equipment before making a purchase decision.
2. Come to a Kamera Express store within 30 days — Want to buy the product (or a similar model of the same brand)? Then visit one of our stores.
3. Bring your Budgetcam invoice and identification — That way we can verify your entitlement to the discount.
4. Receive the first rental day as a discount — The daily price (including VAT) of the rented product will be deducted from your purchase as a discount.

Terms and conditions of the Try Before You Buy promotion

• Promotion validity— This promotion is only available in Dutch, Belgian and German Kamera Express stores (not online).
• Within 30 days of last rental day — You have one month to take advantage of this discount.
• Discount applies to same or similar model — The product you buy must be the exact same model as the rented one, or a similar model of the same brand.
• One-time discount per product — You can use one Budgetcam invoice per purchase. Combining multiple invoices is not possible.
• Valid on both new and used products — You can use the discount on brand new products as well as used and outlet models.
• Discount not exceeding purchase price — If an occasion or outlet product is cheaper than the rental price, the discount cannot be redeemed.
• Promotion not redeemable online — The discount is only redeemable in physical stores of Kamera Express in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
• Not combinable with other discount or trade-in offers

Can I use the discount if I want to buy the product on installment?

No, the discount applies only to direct purchases and not in conjunction with leasing or financing.

What if I am not satisfied after purchase?

Kamera Express' regular return policy applies.

Do I have to report the discount to Budgetcam in advance?

No, you do not have to declare anything in advance at Budgetcam. You only need to bring your invoice and identification to a Kamera Express branch.

How do I know if a product is available in the store?

Contact your nearest Kamera Express store in advance or check stock on www.kamera-express.nl.
