With the Sony XLR-K2M XLR Adapter Kit with Microphone, you can connect your professional audio using the hotshoe connector (multi interface shoe). This option is available for the Sony A7 series and RX series and a select few camcorders. The adapter has two XLR ports. You can configure settings per channel (recording level, damping microphone line inputs). The ECM-XM1 shotgun mic is included, but you can replace it with a different microphone. Also comes with a wind jammer for outdoor recordings.
