The Z-CAM E2 M4 MFT is a professional 4K cinema camera that can film in both DCI and UHD 4K up to 160p and 240p in FHD. This camera has an MFT mount and the sensor dimensions are 17.3 x 13 mm. Furthermore, the camera has dual native ISO at 500 and 2500, this makes the camera very suitable for low light.

In addition, the camera has 13 stops of dynamic range in the Z-log color profile, and in the wide dynamic range mode up to 16 stops can be achieved (WDR). This combines two types of shutter speeds in the same image, so highlights have a high shutter speed. The images are stored on a Cfast 2.0 card in H.265 10bit and 10-bit ProRes 422 HQ, 422, 422 LT and 422 Proxy and ZRAW (z-cam's own raw format). In addition, you can record in ProRes Raw via the HDMI output through an external recorder. 

The camera is very compact, measuring 91.2 x 99.2 x 89.1 mm and weighing 757 g.

The Z CAM also comes with a Ninja V as a screen. The Ninja V 5 is a 5" monitor/recorder that records and plays back DCI 4K, UHD 4K and HD video. It features a 10-bit FRC IPS screen with a brightness of 1000 NIT, making it suitable for indoor and outdoor use. With the Ninja V, it is possible to start and stop recording via the screen. The Ninja V also provides the ability to record in ProRes Raw in combination with the Z CAM. in addition.
