Panasonic's new GH6 is a Micro Four Thirds camera with a 25.2 MP sensor (17.3 x 13.0 mm). The camera can record 5.7K video at up to 60p. It can record in three codecs: Apple Prores, MP4 and MOV. The camera can shoot in 4K UHD or 4K DCI in 10-bit 4:2:2 to 60p. The camera also features various anamorphic desqueeze capabilities.
In addition, the new Venus Engine provides minimal noise, even with high sensitivity and a better color profile, including more natural skin tones. The camera has 13+ stops of dynamic range and has a new feature: the dynamic range boost. Thanks to those features, it is possible to get more dynamic range with minimal noise..
With the built-in fan, it is possible to record longer at high bit rate without overheating the camera. The intensity of the fan can also be adjusted in the camera's settings.
The camera has in-body and sensor shift stabilization and thanks to the new processor, the autofocus is fast and efficient.
Furthermore, the GH6 is equipped with a Full HDMi and a USB C that can be used as a power source, even while recording.
The dimensions of the camera are 100.3 x 138.4 x 99.6 and it weighs 823 g.
