The Rode Wireless PRO is a compact wireless microphone system with one receiver and two transmitters: Perfect for an interview with two people. The receiver has a TRS and USB-C connection, which allows the transmitters to be used with smartphones, PCs and cameras. The receiver also features built-in level control and a headphone jack, so you can listen and adjust the sound directly to ensure the recorded audio is clear.
This Wireless PRO has an updated Timecode function, but is currently only compatible with DaVinci Resolve.
The 32-bit float on-board recording lets you recover silent or underexposed audio files. The clips on the back of the transmitters make it easy to attach them to clothing. Thanks to the omnidirectional pattern of the microphones, sound can be recorded clearly from any direction. Both transmitters have 32 GB of memory, allowing you to store up to 40 hours of backup recordings.
Note: The Wireless PRO may produce noise when used with the Sony A7S III and the Sony FX3. You can reduce this by setting the Sony camera's Audio Rec Level to 6, and setting the Rode receiver to 0.
