The Schoeps MK4 CMC6 Mono Set is a professional shotgun-microphone designed for use in film and television.

The microphone has a very low noise floor of only 80 dBa, a frequency range ranging from 40Hz to 20kHz, low impedance of 42 Ohms and a maximum SPL of 131dB.

The microphone has a cardioid pattern, which means that the microphone mainly picks up sound coming from the direction it is pointing towards. In addition, the microphone has a condenser capsule, which needs phantom power which may be 12V to 48V.
