The lens contains 21 elements in 15 groups, including four FLD elements, three exclusive low-dispersion SLD elements and two aspherical lens elements. This combination minimizes lens flare, ghosting and chromatic aberrations, ensuring clear and sharp images. SIGMA's MTF metering system ensures high resolution and sharpness in every corner of the picture.With a linear motor-HLA (High-response Linear Actuator), the autofocus of the SIGMA 15mm F/1.4 DG DN offers fast, quiet and highly accurate focusing. The lens features a focus and aperture ring with click and lock options for added precision. The included tripod gondola with base allows stable shooting from a tripod without the need for a separate quick release plate.
