The Sirui 50mm T2.9 1.6x is an Anamorphic lens designed for full frame cameras with a Sony E-mount.
Its 1.6 squeeze factor offers many possibilities for different formats. Thanks to its maximum aperture of t2.9, there is little depth of field for nice isolation of the subject.
Furthermore, the lens has standard 0.8 pitch gear and features a ¼ thread at the bottom for easy mounting on your setup.
The lens is composed of 16 elements in 13 groups and has a minimum focusing distance of 75 cm. It has an iris of 10 blades which gives a nice oval bokeh that is more extensive than with a squeeze factor of 1.33 and also gives the lens a nice blue flare.
