Sony A7 IV body

The Sony A7 IV body is an advanced full-frame system camera that offers the perfect balance between photography and videography. This camera is designed for both professionals and enthusiastic creators who expect high quality and versatility in a compact body.

The camera features a newly developed 33MP Exmor R BSI CMOS sensor and BIONZ XR image processor. This combination provides higher speed, improved performance, advanced noise reduction, and a wide dynamic range of 15 stops. In addition, the Sony A7 IV body can record 4K video in 4:2:2 10-bit up to 60p, making it suitable for demanding video productions and creative workflows.

The Sony A7 IV body offers Sony's Cinetone color profile, known for ‘true-to-life’ skin tones, and supports filming in S-Log2 and S-Log3, giving full control during color grading. The camera also features Real-Time Eye AF, Eye and Face Detection and Subject Touch Tracking, making it ideal for use on a gimbal and for run-and-gun shooters who need flexibility and precision.

Unique to the Sony A7 IV body is the Heat Map feature, which lets you visually see where the focus is. The camera also includes a full-size HDMI output, one CFexpress Type A/SD (UHS-II) card slot, one SD/SDHC/SDXC (UHS-II) slot, and a USB Type-C port for charging and powering the camera during long shoots.

The camera comes with a B&W Case for safe and practical storage and transport.

Note: the Sony A7 IV body can overheat during prolonged 4K60P recording, especially when using dual card recording. This can be mitigated by disabling the dual card recording feature and setting auto-off from ‘Normal’ to ‘High’.
